At Your Baby Scan, we pride ourselves on using the latest technology and being innovative in our industry. That's why we were the first to offer secure online storage for all of your images.
Whilst we found that many in the market were providing images on CD/DVD or USB flash disk, these are not compatible with modern devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablet, most of which do not have a CD Drive, or a USB-A port.
Our online photo locker is hosted in the UK and encrypted using bank grade encryption with images uploaded in real-time as your scan completes, and available immediately. All images are the same original quality that we use and print from, and we provide access to these for 25 years so you'll never lose them. Unlike a CD or USB, if you lose your login details, you can contact us at any time, confirm some data protection questions, and we'll be able to send you a copy of your username & password to get access again.
Our secure online locker provides access to your photos with all 'Standard' package scans. Photos can be added to your locker for 'Basic' package scans for a £10 additional charge, however, as our standard package is only £10 more than our basic package, we would highly recommend booking our standard package instead if this was something you wanted as our standard package includes many other extras too.
What about video?
Our secure online locker is flexible and also allows us to upload videos of your scan for you. Unless specifically states with your scan package, this is not included by default and costs £10 per appointment. All of our videos are HD, and are recorded from the start to the end of your scan from everything that you see on the screen in the room, as you see it.
Our online videos can be watched directly from the browser on any device, including your smartphone and tablet, and you also have the option to download copies of your video from the locker in MP4 format. This means that they're compatible with putting onto a USB flash disk, and plugging into most TVs that have a USB port to watch them back full screen on a large screen in your living room - both at a higher quality than a DVD, and longer in length than the 'clips' that most clinics provide on a USB flash disk.
Like our photos, any videos made available via the online locker are available for 25 years too! You can download as many copies as you like, and you view them for years to come.
I didn't realise I could get these when I visited
If you would like either your photos or video but didn't get these on the day, please contact us. We often hold copies inline with regulations for the storage of medical images where we have captured them, and may be able to provide your photos or video for you, even if it's been years since you visited for your scan with us.
